An open letter to all Elite Physique staff,

After achieving what I consider some pretty serious personal bests in Battle of the Gyms, I felt that I had not had the opportunity to thank all those who had helped me experience my success.  I attribute the gains that I have made and the rejuvenated passion for training to all the Elite Physique staff.

The girls on the front desk have always been extremely helpful and cheerful since both my wife and I signed up.  I thank Steve in the supplement shop for his insight and guidance into what is going to work best for me as a strength athlete.  I thank all the trainers who say g’day, lend a spot or make the place a great place to be.  My biggest thanks must go to Alan, Ariel and Billy.  From my first day at the gym you guys have given me nothing but positive direction.  I can honestly say that I am now ready to start tackling some serious weight; my mind is now in the right state.  Boys your guidance and your tolerance of me listening into nearly everything you say to your PT clients has increased my understanding of the science and art that is powerlifting.  Alan your program has been a rippa and the amount of time you spend with me when you are waiting for your clients is appreciated beyond measure.  Your methodical approach to lifting is one I can very mush relate to.  I know that it will come with time.  A-Bomb your foot up the arse and no BS attitude keeps me honest to myself.  The Man can pick up the box another day, but not this day!  Billy, your energy and personal touch is amazing and inspiring.  Your belief in me drives me to discover more about myself.  Each training session I have, I am reminded of why I came to Elite.  Elite is the place I need to be so that I can see what I am truly capable of.

And Paul, you orchestrated a great Battle of the Gyms.  For my first experience I have been blown away.  It was very well organised and well executed.  The vibe was great and the feeling of team amongst the competitors was very inspiring.  I look forward to the next one.

Sincerely,

Mark Rasmussen
